Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model as well as an animal rights activist in the US. Her movies include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). She was raised by an artist family in New York and wanted to take up a profession in the field of artistic fields. Her first position was an assistant to photographers. After that, she switched to modelling and acting. Her first two movies her name was acknowledged and was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award as Most Promising Young Actress. MacGraw was a household name in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was nominated for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films MacGraw was named one of the most successful women in box office history. In 1972, her footprints and autograph were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she's appeared in include The Getaway Convoy Players as in the mini-series on TV The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, was released. MacGraw married three people.
