Zoe-perry
Perry was born in Chicago to the actors Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. One of her first TV appearances were Jackie Harris on ABC's sitcom Roseanne. Her mother portrayed her role. Perry was forbidden to perform by her parents until adulthood, as they feared the stress it would create. Perry shy and timid to perform in the school, began to perform at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new acquaintances. Perry was a graduate of Boston University moved to New York in search of TV roles. Perry was able to land small roles in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. But, her home-sickness brought her back to California in search of theater jobs. Perry was a part of the cast with her mother as part of The Other Place at Broadway the previous year. In the year 2015, she was together with Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prizewinning Drama Anna Christie. Odyssey Theatre Ensemble Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry played nine roles in the ABC drama The Family, in 2016. Her father played her on The ABC Drama Scandal. In the same year, she was cast as the younger version of Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) on Young Sheldon, a spin-off of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory again as a teen model of the mother's role. She was cast in the role by auditioning for an open role despite being connected to the character.
