Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler 28 June 1986. The young woman had a troubled childhood. She was just two when her mother left her to get away from an abusive marriage. In 1995, she was returned back to the world of Pickler, and took custody. The situation did not go very well. Pickler went back to her parents when she was twelve years old. Her grandparents brought her through to adulthood. Pickler did not have the capacity to raise her kids in the absence of their parents. In absence of parents, Pickler's schedule was so busy that she could not go to school. In the meantime, she began learning how to look after her family at an earlier time. Pickler was on the middle and high school's cheerleading squad. North Stanly High School, where she graduated in 2004 is her school of choice. Pickler is also a seasoned beauty queen.
