Hayley is an American performer and actress. People are most familiar with the character as Erica Goldberg in the comedy television show 'The Goldbergs'. But she is primarily an avid music fan. Music, according her, is the very first thing she loves. Her first time playing it at age nine. When she was 12 the world of music had become important enough to start training professionally. As a teenager She began to write her own songs. The first album she released as a cover didn't come out until 14 years later. From then on, she has not been back. Orrantia has Hispanic origins, but was born in USA. Though she's never was a Spanish speaker in Mexico, she still feels very proud about her Hispanic roots. In order to preserve her heritage, she is learning Spanish. Additionally, she creates songs that incorporate the Spanish language. One of her efforts was a Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia got selected as a result of an YouTube video and was awarded the judges' four "yes" no votes by judges at the time of live auditions at Seattle, Washington. Her initial audition was for "Hollywood Week" as a solo artist. However, three other female vocalists as well as her were brought together for auditions of other songs. They were eliminated from the show in the fifth week of live performances.
